Terms of service (seller app)

These terms govern your use of the Jovendo seller / ambassador mobile application and related seller services offered by Jovendo (or its operating entity). By creating an account or continuing to use the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Depending on your country, additional terms, a separate commercial agreement, or consumer-law disclosures may apply on jovendo.link or at signup. In case of conflict, the provisions that cannot be waived under mandatory law prevail.

1. Eligibility and account

• You must provide accurate information (identity, contact, and any KYC data requested).
• You are responsible for keeping your password and device secure. Notify us without delay if you suspect unauthorized access.
• The phone number registered at account creation is used for authentication and, where applicable, as the default payout destination for commissions. It may be immutable after registration for security and compliance; ensure it is correct before you complete signup.

2. Your role

You act as an independent promoter or seller within the framework offered by Jovendo. Unless expressly agreed in writing, you are not an employee, agent, or representative of Jovendo. You are responsible for your own taxes and social obligations in your jurisdiction.

3. Acceptable use

• No fraud, abuse of promotions, fake orders, or manipulation of tracking or commission systems.
• No unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, or misleading content in connection with the platform.
• No attempt to bypass security, scrape the service in violation of rules, or harm other users or the infrastructure.
• Respect third-party rights (copyright, trademarks, image rights) when sharing links or creatives.

Jovendo may investigate suspicious activity and cooperate with authorities where required by law.

4. Links, catalog, and commissions

• Product availability, prices, images, and descriptions are provided by the platform or merchants and may change without notice.
• Commission rates, attribution rules, and exclusions are defined in the back office and may vary by product or campaign.
• Jovendo may withhold, adjust, or reclaim commissions in the event of returns, chargebacks, duplicate attribution, error, or suspected abuse.

5. Intellectual property

The app, logos, trademarks, and content provided by Jovendo remain its property or that of its licensors. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use the app for its intended purpose. You may not copy or reverse engineer the app except as permitted by mandatory law.

6. Suspension and termination

Jovendo may suspend or terminate access (temporarily or permanently) if you breach these terms, if required by law, or for operational reasons with reasonable notice when feasible. You may stop using the service at any time. Provisions that logically survive termination (e.g. accrued payment obligations, liability limits where valid) remain in force.

7. Service availability and changes

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. Jovendo may modify features, discontinue parts of the service, or update these terms. Material changes will be communicated where required by law (for example via the app, email, or jovendo.link). Continued use after notice may constitute acceptance.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Jovendo is not liable for indirect damages (lost profits, loss of data, business interruption) arising from your use of the app. Direct liability is limited where the law allows to amounts or remedies specified in your jurisdiction or in a separate agreement. Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liability that cannot be limited by law.
