This policy explains how Jovendo (or the entity operating the service, “we”, “us”) processes personal data when you use the Jovendo seller / ambassador application and related seller features.

1. Who is responsible?

The data controller is the Jovendo company identified on the website (legal notices / imprint). For day-to-day operations we may use processors (hosting, messaging, analytics) under strict contracts.

2. What data do we collect?

• Account and authentication — Phone number, password hash, display name, optional email, security question and answer (stored in a secure form), device or session identifiers where needed for security.
• Seller activity — Tracking links you create, clicks and orders attributed to you, commission lines, wallet balance movements, withdrawal requests.
• Payouts — Phone number or account details used to send you commissions; transaction references from payment partners.
• Support and communications — Messages you send us, crash or diagnostic logs if you opt in or if required for stability (minimized where possible).
• Notifications — If you enable push notifications, a push token and preferences are processed by our notification provider.

3. Why we use your data (purposes)

• To create and manage your seller account and authenticate you.
• To attribute sales, calculate commissions, operate the wallet, and process withdrawals.
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• To comply with legal obligations (tax, accounting, court orders).
• To improve the app (aggregated statistics, product usage) and send important service messages.
• With your consent where required — for example marketing emails if we offer them separately.

4. Legal bases (GDPR-style summary)

Where GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (providing the seller service); legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, service improvement, balanced against your rights); legal obligation (accounting, regulatory requests); and consent when consent is the appropriate basis.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties for their own marketing. We may share data with:

• Payment and telecom partners to execute payouts.

The service is not intended for minors below the age required to enter into a contract in their country. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
